The COVID 19 project is a One and half year project, Project No. 2020-610-UG with a total budget of €90,000 funded by DIFAEM. The project started on 1st August 2020 and ends 31st January 2022 with an outcome of Strengthened COVID-19 Readiness and Responsiveness for Prevention and Control of new infections within 30 selected Health Facilities in the Busoga region. The project has three (3) objectives that include the following.

1. Improved Capacity for Health Facilities to scale up standard COVID-19 awareness, preparedness, Prevention and Control Practices.
2. Health Facilities scale up Standard IPC/ WASH practices for Prevention and Control of COVID-19 infections within Health Facilities
3. Improved Knowledge Management and Learning to enhance effective COVID-19 Preparedness and readiness.
